  • Darnell D. was charged with attempted murder for the benefit of a criminal street gang after allegedly being involved in a shooting at a house party.  Investigation before the preliminary hearing led to dismissal of the attempted murder charge and a misdemeanor plea bargain for “Time Served”.
  • David D. was charged with felony DUI resulting in an accident and great bodily injury. Investigation into the incident and David’s past, before the preliminary hearing, led to a plea bargain of 45 days in the Work Release Program.
  • Marita T. was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon after a domestic dispute.  The entire case was dismissed by the Court at the conclusion of the preliminary hearing.
  • Christopher H. was charged with second degree burglary and possession of stolen property, both for the benefit of a criminal street gang.  At the conclusion of the preliminary hearing, the Court sided with the defense and dismissed all the gang allegations.

  • Devon S. was charged with assault with the intent to commit rape after he was identified by the victim as her assailant.  Investigation before the preliminary hearing led to the entire case being dismissed.
  • Thomas C. was charged with attempted murder for the benefit of a criminal street gang after allegedly committing a drive-by shooting.  Investigation before the preliminary hearing led to the entire case being dismissed.
