  • Albert M. was charged with felony DUI, with multiple strike priors after he was stopped with children in his vehicle and the officer smelled alcohol on his breath. Due to the fact that he had prior strikes on his record, Albert faced a potential sentence of 25 years to life in prison. After careful analysis of the case and pointed negotiations with the Court and District Attorney, Albert received a probationary sentence and one year in county jail.
  • Lewis D. was arrested for being a gang member in possession of a concealed firearm after he was stopped for speeding and a search of his vehicle revealed a loaded handgun hidden within his car. Despite facing a potential of 9 years in prison, a strong defense and deft negotiation resulted in a 180 day sentence for a non-gang related misdemeanor.

  • Jerome J. was charged with selling narcotics for the benefit of a criminal street gang.  After thorough cross-examination of the District Attorney’s Gang Expert during the preliminary hearing, the Court dismissed all gang allegations.
